Fire Crews extricate two people from a car roll over on Crowchild Trail

 

 

 

 

At 11:30 this evening the Calgary Fire Department responded to 50 Ave and Crowchild trail SW. Upon arrival they encountered a single vehicle roll over. The crew quickly discovered that two people had been ejected from the car as well as two additional people were trapped inside the vehicle. All four people were seriously injured. Whilst EMS was dealing with the ejected passengers, the fire crews utilizing hydraulic rescue tools removed the doors from the vehicle which allowed access to the other two victims. All four people were transported to the hospital by EMS, the extent of their injuries is not known at this time. Calgary Police Services remains on scene commencing their investigation into the cause of the accident.
