CPS provided traffic control at scene and is also working with CFD investigators to determine cause. Atco and Enmax were dispatched and ensured there were no hazards relating to services.

Fire crews including a fire investigator will remain on scene to ensure there is no fire extension and to confirm extinguishment.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

The Calgary Fire Department would like to remind all citizens of the importance of working smoke alarms and ensuring that all occupants have an escape plan in the event of a fire or emergency.
