Calgary Fire Department Rescues Male From River

 

 

Shortly after midnight the Calgary Fire Department Aquatics Rescue Team was called for reports of a male in the Bow River at 10street S.W.. After searching the area, rescuers found the male floating face down at the Princess Island pedestrian bridge. A rescue swimmer immediately entered the water and was subsequently able to secure and remove the patient. After returning to shore patient care was transferred to Alberta Health Services personnel who have transported the patient to an area hospital.
