Arbour Lake homicide victim identified

The victim of a shooting in Arbour Lake yesterday has been identified by family.

At approximately 5:40 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, police responded to reports of multiple shots being fired in the 600 block of Arbour Lake Drive N.W. Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot. The male died at the scene.

An autopsy is currently underway. The victim has been identified as Hui XU, also known as Phillip TU, 42, of Calgary.

Investigators believe this was a targeted attack, however, it is not believed to be related to a shooting that occurred earlier this week in Monterey Park.
