Police looking to identify homicide suspect

We are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect believed to be involved in a March 2024 homicide.

Evidence has led investigators to one suspect who is believed to have been involved in a fatal shooting that occurred at the Super 8 hotel located at 60 Shawville Road S.E., on Monday, March 25, 2024.

After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspect, we are now asking for help from the public.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s with a slim build and being approximately 6’ tall. At the time of the shooting, he was wearing blue shoes, camouflage jeans and a long, green winter coat. He was last seen driving a grey 2016 to 2018 Ford Focus with a hatchback.

It is believed the suspect has ties to Edmonton.

“We are asking anyone who believes they have information that will help us identify this individual to come forward,” says Acting Staff Sgt. John Pearson. “One man lost his life, and the person responsible needs to be held accountable.”
