Police investigate shooting in Taradale

We continue to investigate a shooting that occurred overnight in the northeast community of Taradale.

This morning, Monday, April 15, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., we were called for reports of a shooting outside a residence located in the 0 to 100 block of Tararidge Court N.E.

Upon arrival, police uncovered several rounds of ammunition that were believed to have struck a residence.

No injuries were reported, and the suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

This is believed to be a targeted incident and is believed to be related to organized-crime conflict.

No arrests have been made at this time, and we continue to search for suspects in relation to this incident.

Investigators continue to review CCTV footage and speak to witnesses, however, we continue to ask individuals who may have information about this incident to come forward.
