Update 2: Police investigate death in Prestwick

A Calgary man has been charged in connection to a homicide that occurred at a residence in Prestwick earlier this week.

Ryan KINOSHITA, 29, has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Joel Aaron CLARK.

Investigators believe the fatal assault was the result of a dispute between the victim and the accused. The victim was the accused’s landlord, and they were living together in the residence in the 300 block of Prestwick Terrace S.E. at the time of the incident.

KINOSHITA will next appear in court on Thursday, April 11, 2024.
