Update: Police seek public assistance to identify assault suspect

The suspect police were previously looking for in relation to an incident that occurred at a southeast dog park on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, has been identified.

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, the suspect turned himself in to police.

As a result, Zsolt BAKTAY, 62, of Calgary, has been charged with one count each of assault, assault causing bodily harm and intimidation.

BAKTAY will next appear in court on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
