Ongoing police incident in Penbrooke Meadows

At approximately 3:30 p.m., today, Thursday, March 14, 2024, our Tactical Unit was executing a search warrant in relation to an ongoing investigation at a residence located in the 300 block of Penswood Way S.E. Prior to police entering the residence, shots were fired in the direction of police officers on scene. No injuries have been reported at this time.

We currently have multiple police resources on scene and have contained the suspect residence. We are asking nearby residents to shelter in place and take direction from officers on scene.
