2013 City Council Swearing-in Ceremony

All Calgarians are invited to attend the Swearing-In Ceremony to mark the beginning of City Council of Calgary for 2013 – 2017 term of office.

Event:                   Swearing-In Ceremony of Council-Elect
Date:                    Monday, October 28^th
Location:   Council Chamber, City Hall, 800 Macleod Trail SE.
Time:                   Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m.

Council Procession will begin at 6:55 p.m.
Swearing-In Ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.

Doors will open to the public at 6:30 p.m. Limited seating is available in Council Chamber on a first-come-first-serve basis. Several TV screens are available in the Municipal Building Atrium for public viewing.

Following the ceremony in Council Chamber, the Mayor will address the audience on the stairs in the Municipal Building Atrium.

The Swearing-In Ceremony and Mayoral address will also be broadcast live on Shaw digital channel 10 and 89 as well as streamed live on The City of Calgary’s website at Calgary.ca.
