UPDATE: Northbound Deerfoot Trail at 17 Avenue S.E. closure continues

Northbound Deerfoot Trail at 17 Avenue S.E. will remain closed while crews continue to clear and secure the roadway. This closure may continue into the evening commute. Please plan to take alternate routes, such as Barlow Trail, Peigan Trail, and Blackfoot Trail.

The City’s Traffic Management Centre has made adjustments to accommodate the high traffic volumes expected along alternative routes. However, delays can be expected along roadways surrounding this closure.

An update will be provided once the closure has been removed. The City would like to thank Calgarians for their cooperation during this time and appreciate your patience.
