UPDATE - Emergency road closure

Two northbound Macleod Trail S. continues to be closed between 13 Avenue and 15 Avenue. A water main break has forced the emergency closure of two northbound lanes. These lanes will be closed until further notice.

Two northbound lanes of Macleod Trail are still open to traffic but motorists are advised to expect delays. Motorists should avoid the area and find alternate routes. Detours have been set up in the immediate area.

City crews are on site for repairs. Updates will be provided later this morning as more information becomes available.
