Public invited to view revised proposal for the redevelopment of East Paskapoo Slopes

The City of Calgary is hosting two public information sessions to share the revised application to redevelop a portion of the Paskapoo Slopes east of Canada Olympic Park.

“Following public engagement that took place in the summer, the applicant has recently provided a revised proposal,” says David Couroux, senior planner with The City’s Planning Department. “We’ve had a chance to review the revised application and would like to not only share this with the public, but gather feedback specific to building heights and visual impacts to help further refine the plan.”

There will be a series of panels explaining details of the revised proposal. City staff from various departments will be in attendance to discuss the details and answer questions. The applicant will also be available to speak with the public.

In order to accommodate the proposed development, the land must be rezoned and the area structure plan requires amendment. Both the rezoning and the amended Area Structure Plan must be approved by City Council for the development proposal to proceed.

Information sessions are scheduled for:

Location: Irish Cultural Society in Bowness, 6452 35 Ave NW
