Power restored to additional parts of downtown

Following inspections by The City of Calgary, Enmax has restored power to most buildings in the northwest portion of the affected area of the downtown core.

A comparatively small number of individual buildings may still be without power because of specific electrical or structural issues which need to be resolved.

The area that has been reenergized is approximately bordered on the north by Riverfront Ave.; south by the railway tracks; west by 2 St. S.W.; and east by 1 St. S.E.

As the area has not yet been fully cleaned, there may be silt and debris on the roadways and sidewalks. Please exercise caution.

In addition, the following buildings also now have power:
Keynote – 220, 12th Ave S.E.
Nuera – 211, 13th Avenue S.E.

This allows representatives of the buildings’ tenants to return for inspection and remediation. These buildings are not yet open to the public.
