Major Flood at North West Mall

Calgary Firefighters were dispatched this morning to a mall located on the 3600 block of Brentwood Road NW. for a report of flooding at the Safeway store at that location.Crews arrived to find that the entire mall was affected by the flood. Crews remain on scene to try to limit damage at this time. City Water Services have arrived on scene to shut down the main supplying the mall. Management staff from the mall are on scene to determine what will be required to open the mall to customers. Updates will be provided as more developments occur.
