Help shape the future of West Eau Claire Park

The City is looking for citizen’s ideas and input to create a plan to redevelop West Eau Claire Park and the surrounding space.

The area is along the Eau Claire Promenade from the Louise Bridge (10 Street SW) to Eau Claire Plaza. The public input will help The City identify a clear vision to guide the design, provide a concept plan, and prioritize improvements for West Eau Claire Park.

“West Eau Claire Park is a destination for Calgarians and visitors, and we want to continue to find ways to bring and keep people to the area to enjoy the space,” says project manager Greg Stewart with the Planning Department. “We are excited to receive input and ideas from people who use this space and figure out how we can make it that much better.”

To ensure the plan meets community needs, there are various ways citizens can have their say:

  • At a sounding board (wood structure) in West Eau Claire Park near the Peace Bridge;
  • Online using a mapping tool or by taking a survey;
  • In person at the site (dates and times to be determined).
