Garbage and recycling collection delays – PSA

Due to the extreme weather conditions, City of Calgary garbage and recycling vehicles are experiencing significant delays and difficulty accessing some areas.

Waste & Recycling Services is working hard to collect as much as possible today, but we will likely not be able to reach every house that normally receives Tuesday collection service.

If your garbage or recycling is not collected today, we ask that you save it for next week.

We will reassess the situation and provide an update if we continue to expect delays on Wednesday.
