City advises East Village residents to not return to their residences

Contrary to rumours, residents of the East Village are reminded to NOT return to their homes as the area has not yet been cleared for re-occupancy. More than 80 percent of the homes in the area remain without power.

Unless instructed by landlords or property managers, we are asking East Village residents to please not attempt to return to their homes. We thank you for your understanding and patience as this emergency situation continues.
