Charges laid in death of Lisa Michelle MITCHELL

Allan SHYBACK, 38, of Calgary has been charged with second degree murder and indignity to a body. His next court appearance is on Monday, Dec. 8, 2014.

The Calgary Police Service has arrested one man in relation to the disappearance of Lisa Michelle MITCHELL.

MITCHELL, 31,  was last seen at her residence in the southeast community of Ogden on Monday, Oct.29, 2012.

After not hearing from her for an uncharacteristic amount of time, MITCHELL's family became very concerned and reported her missing to Turner Valley RCMP on Nov.17, 2012. On Jan.9, 2013 RCMP turned the missing person investigation over to the Calgary Police Service. 

On Friday, Dec.5, 2014 a search warrant was executed at the Ogden residence.

This search is ongoing at this time. The Forensic Crime Scene Unit is processing the scene and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been notified.

A 38 year old male, of Calgary, is in custody and charges of second degree murder and indignity to are pending.
