Calgary road closures - November 7, 2013
Southwest
8 Avenue S.W. is closed between 4 Street and 5 Street S.W. due to a gas main leak. The road is expected to re-open on Saturday.
57 Avenue S.W. is closed between Macleod Trail and 1 Street S.W. until 4 p.m. on Friday November 8.
The two left lanes will be closed and speed restricted to 50 km/h on southbound Crowchild Trail at 33 Avenue S.W. from 7 a.m. Saturday, November 9 to 10 p.m. Sunday, November 10 for utility work.
11 Avenue S.W. will be closed from 1 Street S.W. to 2 Street S.W. from Saturday, November 9 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Westbound traffic is encouraged to take 10 Street S.W.
31 Street S.W. will be closed between 19 Avenue S.W. and 21 Avenue S.W. from 7 a.m. on Friday, November 8 until 7 p.m. on Saturday, November 9 for utility work. Local access will be maintained.
Southeast
11 Street S.E. will be closed between 21 Avenue and 26 Avenue S.E. from 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 9 until 7 p.m. on Monday, November 11 for railway repairs.
Northeast
4 Avenue N.E. is closed between 1 Street N.E. and 2 Street N.E. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 7 for utility work.
Rundlehorn Drive N.E. is closed between 48 Street N.E. and Rundlefield Road N.E until 6 p.m. on Friday, November 8.
Northwest
There will be a new temporary alignment on Country Hills Boulevard at Métis Trail N.W. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 10 and Monday, November 11. Motorists are advised to watch for traffic controls. Speed will be reduced during this time, and delays are expected.
19 Street N.W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Kensington Road and 1 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, November 8 for roadwork.
Westbound Crowchild Trail will be reduced to one lane west of Stoney Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, November 8 for roadwork.
10 Street N.W. will be reduced to one lane between 16 Avenue N.W. and 18 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. on Friday, November 8 until 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 10 for utility work.
26 Avenue N.W. is closed between 6 Street N.W. and 5 Street N.W. until Thursday, November 7 at 7 p.m. for utility work.

Remembrance Day Services at Central Memorial Park
4 Street S.W. will be closed between 12 Avenue and 13 Avenue S.W. on Monday, November 11 from 10a.m. to noon.
Cross Project for Fallen Soldiers
Memorial Drive will be closed between the Centre Street lower deck to 3 Street N.W. from 11 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. on Monday, November 11 for a moment of silence in honour of Remembrance Day.
