Calgary Road Closures - November 26, 2014

Northwest

From 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., eastbound 16 Avenue N.W. east of Sarcee Trail S.W. will have one right lane closed daily until Friday, November 28.

Symons Valley Road between 144 Avenue N.W. and Sage Meadow Circle is now reopened. Thank you for your patience.

Southeast

There will be various single lane closures in all directions at the intersection of Peigan Trial and 52 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28 for signal work. The speed limits at intersection will remain at 50 km/h due to continued construction activities.

Extended: There will be various lane closures on Spiller Road S.E. south of 25 Avenue S.E. starting Tuesday, August 26 until Tuesday, November 25 due to utility work.

The west sidewalk of 3 Street S.E. between 7 Avenue S.E. and 8 Avenue S.E. is closed for construction until February 2015. 

3 Street S.E. will be reduced to one lane in each direction between 6 Avenue S.E. and 8 Avenue S.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until the end of January 2015. The sidewalk will also be closed during this time.

UPDATE:  From 6 a.m. Saturday, November 29 to 6 p.m. Sunday, November 30, the two left lanes will be closed on westbound Glenmore Trail west of 18 Street S.E. to allow for work related to the watermain upgrade project using the Graves Bridge. Glenmore Trail is already part of a construction zone with a reduced speed limit of 60 km/h that will remain in effect 24/7 until project is completed.

4 Street S.E. is closed between 9 Avenue S.E. and 8 Avenue S.E. until the end of January 2015.  This closure is needed to facilitate the construction of the +60 pedestrian bridge at the National Music Centre.
