Northeast
NEW: 20 Avenue N.E. will be closed on the west side of Edmonton Trail from 5 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to Tuesday, May 27 due to the Edmonton Trail road reconstruction project.
Eastbound Memorial Drive is reduced to one lane at 4 Street N.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Saturday, May 31 due to construction.
Northwest
NEW: Left turns will be restricted on northbound Nose Hill Drive N.W. at Crowfoot Road N.W. from 9 .m. to 3 p.m. daily on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24 to due to construction.
NEW: Edmonton Trail will be closed at 20 Avenue N.W. from 5 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to Monday, May 26 due to the Edmonton Trail road reconstruction project.
Edmonton Trail will be closed at 17 Avenue N.W. and 18 Avenue N.W. from 5 a.m. on Friday, May 16 until early June due to the Edmonton Trail road reconstruction project.
Southeast
NEW: 6 Street S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 6 Avenue S.E. and 9 Avenue S.E. from 9 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 28 due to construction.
NEW: 12 Avenue S.E. will be closed between 26 Street S.E. and 27 Street S.E. from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23 due to building construction.
14 Avenue S.E. will be closed between 27 Street S.E. and 28 Street S.E. from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 23 due to emergency utility work.
The right lane on eastbound Glenmore Trail west of Blackfoot Trail will be closed from 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 22 to 5 a.m. on Friday, May 23 due to traffic sign work. At this time the speed limit will be reduced to 60 km/h.
Two centre lanes on 5 Avenue S.E. will be closed between 1 Street S.E. and Centre Street from 8 a.m. on Monday, May 19 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 25 due to utility work.
The right lane on westbound Riverfront Avenue S.E. will be closed from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 23 due to riverbank stabilization work.
The right lane will be closed on southbound 52 Street S.E. between 68 Avenue and 72 Avenue S.E from 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 27 to Saturday, May 24 due to utility work. The speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h at this time. In addition, 68 Avenue S.E. will be closed west of 52 Street S.E. with traffic detoured to 64 Avenue and 72 Avenue S.E. The regional pathway on the west side of 52 Street S.E. will be closed and detoured to the east side of 52 Street S.E. Local business access will be maintained. Alternate routes such as Barlow Trail are recommended as delays are expected.
Southwest
NEW: 14 Avenue S.W. will be closed east of 14 Street S.W. from 8 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 due to road construction.
NEW: 15 Avenue S.W. will be closed east of 14 Street S.W. from 8 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 due to road construction.
NEW: Northbound 37 Street S.W. will be closed between 23 Avenue and 25 Avenue S.W. from 7 p.m. on Friday, May 23 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 24 due to utility work. Local traffic will be detoured to 36 Street S.W. to bypass the construction. Alternate northbound routes such as Sarcee Trail are recommended as delays are expected.
NEW: Parking will be restricted on 12 Avenue S.W. between 1 Street S.W. and 2 Street S.W. from 6 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to midnight on Sunday May 25 to accommodate a large garbage bin for building maintenance.
NEW: The two left lanes on 5 Street S.W. will be closed between 10 Avenue S.W. and 11 Avenue S.W. from 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 23 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 the two right lanes on 5 Street S.W. will be closed between 10 Avenue S.W. and 11 Avenue S.W.
There will be various lane closures on 5 Street S.W. at 10 Avenue S.W. from 9 a.m. on Friday, May 23 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 25 due to utility work. Motorists are advised to follow detour signs.
The sidewalk will be closed on the north side of 5 Avenue S.W. between 5 Street S.W. and 6 Street S.W. from 5 a.m. on Thursday, May 22 to 5 a.m. on Monday, May 26 due to sidewalk construction.
The right lane will be closed on southbound Crowchild Trail at 33 Avenue S.W. from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. nightly on Wednesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 22 then again from 8 p.m. Friday, May 23 until 10 p.m. Sunday, May 25 due to utility work. At this time the speed will be reduced to 50 km/h.
There will be various lane closures on eastbound Bow Trail between Sarcee Trail and 37 Street S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily on weekends from Wednesday, May 21 to Wednesday, June 4 due to construction. At this time the speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h.
13 Avenue S.W. will be closed between 11 Street S.W. and 12 Street S.W. from 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 due to utility work.
17 Avenue S.W. is reduced to one lane in each direction at Richmond Road S.W. due to emergency utility work.
There will be various lane closures on 14 Street S.W. between 6 Avenue and 17 Avenue S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on weekdays, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends. Work will be ongoing until mid-summer. Visit Calgary.ca for more information.
14 Street S.W. will be closed at 29 Avenue S.W. from 8 a.m. on Monday, May 12 until Wednesday, May 21 due to utility work.
There will be various lane closures on 14 Street S.W. between Heritage Drive and Anderson Road from Monday, May 12 until August for operational improvements. More information is available on the website.
Two left lanes on 4 Avenue S.W. will be closed between 3 Street S.W. and 5 Street S.W. during peak hours. During off-peak hours (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) three left lanes will be closed. The first phase of this project is expected to last until the end of May.
2 Avenue S.W. is closed between 2 Street and 3 Street S.W. until July 3 at 6 p.m.
The left lane and sidewalk are closed on 11 Avenue S.W. between 11 Street S.W. and 12 Street S.W. until Tuesday, September 30 due to building construction.

Lilac Festival
Road closure information from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 25:
- 4 Street S.W. between 13 Avenue S.W. and 26 Avenue S.W. will be closed
- Expect major delays on 17 Avenue S.W. at 4 Street S.W. due to pedestrian crossings. The area will be controlled by Calgary Police Service.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes or to take the LRT during the Lilac Festival.
