Calgary road closures - March 25, 2014

Northwest

Bowness Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 64 Street N.W. from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25 to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, March 26 due to utility work.

Memorial Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Crowchild Trail and 16 Street N.W. from Wednesday, March 19 to Thursday, May 15 due to riverbank restoration. On weekdays lane restrictions will be in effect daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on weekends daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Southeast

The right lane on eastbound 114 Avenue S.E. will be closed at 68 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 27 due to utility work.

Westbound 50 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 52 Street S.E. and 43 Street S.E. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Sunday, March 23 to Tuesday, March 25 due to utility work.

Southwest

NEW:  Elbow Drive S.W. has been reduced to one lane in each direction north of Heritage Drive until noon on Wednesday, March 26 due to a water main break.

NEW: Westbound Bow Trail will be reduced to one lane at 31 Street S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 due to construction.

85 Street S.W. will be reduced to one lane in each direction at 8 Avenue S.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26 due to traffic signal installation.

The right lane on 5 Avenue S.W. will be closed between Centre Street and 1 Street S.W. from 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 22 to Wednesday, April 30. This lane will be used for pedestrians while work is being done on the sidewalk.
