Calgary road closures - February 7, 2014

Please note that due to maintenance the traffic cameras on Calgary.ca will be unavailable from 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 9. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Northwest

Crowchild Trail will be reduced to one lane in each direction at Stoney Trail N.W. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11 due to construction.

Northbound 85 Street N.W. will be closed at 48 Avenue N.W. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11 due to utility work. Personnel will be on site directing alternating traffic through the southbound lane.

Northeast

Northbound Barlow Trail will be reduced to one lane at Airport Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, February 10 due to construction.

Eastbound Memorial Drive will be reduced to two lanes at 9 Street N.E. (Bridgeland LRT station) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, February 3 to Friday, February 28 due to LRT construction.

Southwest

10 Avenue S.W. will be closed between 4 Street S.W. and 5 Street S.W. from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 due to construction.

There will be various lane closures at Elbow Drive and 75 Avenue S.W. beginning Friday, February 7 to Sunday, February 9 due to utility work.

5 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to one lane between 4 Street S.W. and 5 Street S.W. from 6 p.m. on Friday, February 7 to 5 a.m. on Monday, February 10 due to a water main break.

11 Avenue S.W. will be reduced to two lanes at 8 Street S.W. from 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 due to a water main break.

Southeast

Southbound 52 Street S.E. will be reduced to two lanes at 126 Avenue S.E. from 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 8 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, February 9 due to utility work. Left turns at the intersection will not be permitted at this time. Traffic affected by the turn restrictions will be detoured to 130 Avenue S.E.

Westbound 58 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane at 4 Street S.E. from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 8 due to utility work.

Eastbound 17 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 19 Street S.E. and Deerfoot Trail from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily from Monday, January 20 to Friday, February 14. On Saturdays the lanes will be reduced between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.

9 Avenue S.E. will be reduced to one lane between 4 Street S.E. and 5 Street S.E. from 9 a.m. on Monday, January 27 to 6 p.m. on Friday, February 14 due to utility work.
