Afternoon Fire in The Downtown Core
Shortly after 1:30 p.m.. this afternoon Calgary Fire Crews were called to the 100 block of 3 avenue S.E.. for reports of a building fire.First arriving Fire Department personnel reported a storage shed at the rear of the address on fire and quickly began a aggressive fire attack. The fire was quickly brought under control and damage was confined to the storage shed. No injuries were reported and traffic was temporarily rerouted around the 1 block radius of 3 avenue.The Calgary Fire Department remains on scene conducting overhaul and investigation operations.
