2 p.m. Update - Downtown road closures

Calgary Police are continuing their investigation in the downtown core.

The following roads are expected to remain closed  through the afternoon rush hour:

• Westbound 4 Avenue S.E. is closed from Macleod Trail to 1 Street S.E.
• Southbound 1 Street S.E. from Riverfront Avenue to 4 Avenue S.E.
• 3 Avenue S.E. from 1 Street S.E. to Centre Street.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas and take alternate routes.
