15th Annual Youth Hiring Fair offers more than 5,000 jobs for Calgary Youth
Calgary, Alberta – If you’re between the ages of 15 and 24, and are in search of the perfect job in the perfect city, well then Calgary’s Youth Employment Centre’s Hiring Fair may be for you.
Join us at the Big Four Building in Stampede Park as employers look to fill thousands of jobs at the 15th annual Youth Hiring Fair.
“This is Calgary’s only hiring fair exclusively for young people ,” says Jessica Pauletig, a Community Liaison with the Youth Employment Centre. “It is an excellent opportunity for youth to connect with a variety of employers from different industries, all under one roof.”
The fair boasts more than 5,000 full-time, part-time, seasonal and career opportunities in areas such as recreation, trades, logistics, hospitality retail, not-for-profit and more.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for youth to find their ideal job,” says Pauletig.
Youth are encouraged to bring their resumes, be dressed to impress, and be prepared for on-the spot- interviews. They will also have the opportunity to win an iPad mini at the fair.
Community & Neighbourhood Services’ Youth Employment Centre provides free year-round career planning and employment services to people between the ages of 15 and 24 through hiring fairs, one-on-one career counselling, resume and job search assistance and much more.
