Upcoming Crowchild Trail Lane Reductions

Due to necessary ATCO gas repairs in the area, Crowchild Trail S.W. may be experiencing major delays over the next several weeks.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 3, until 7 p.m. on Sunday, October 12, the inside lanes (closest to the barrier) on both north and southbound Crowchild Trail at 54 Avenue S.W. will be closed entirely. The speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h, to allow for crews to safely carry out their work.

Given that this is a major north/south roadway, motorists are encouraged to consider taking alternate routes to avoid delays. A second stage of lane closures will be required. We will keep you informed of this work as it progresses.
