Undetermined Death

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating an undetermined death in the city’s northeast.

At approximately 6:30 a.m., on Wednesday, July, 31, 2013, a contract worker at the Calgary Zoo spotted the body of a man in the water on the north side of Zoo Island.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is currently assisting CPS with confirming the man’s identity and cause of his death. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.

It is not anticipated any further details will be released today.
