Two charged - conspiracy to commit murder
The Calgary Police Service Domestic Conflict Unit has charged two individuals with conspiracy to commit murder.
On Thursday, June 13, 2013, with the assistance of the Real Time Operations Centre and the Tactical Unit, two individuals were arrested in northeast Calgary as part of an ongoing domestic violence investigation.
The investigation stemmed from an incident in May 2013, involving an alleged kidnapping attempt.
After the incident, investigators from the Domestic Conflict Unit determined there was an imminent threat to the safety of another individual. Police believe that the intended target was an associate of an ex-domestic partner of one of the accused.
Vincenzo SIRIANNI, 43, and Tammy EARL, 40, are each charged with one count of conspiring to commit murder.
