Suspicious Death

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a suspicious death.

At approximately 10:25 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, police were called to the 3900 block of 17 Avenue S.E., for reports of an injured man. The man was transported to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013.

The CPS Homicide Unit has been called out to investigate. An autopsy will be scheduled early next week, and no new information will be available until the autopsy has been completed.
