Seeking Public Assistance – Robbery

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a possible person of interest in connection to a gas station robbery.

On Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at approximately 3:35 a.m., a man entered the Petro Canada at 2220 68 St. N.E.

The culprit displayed a weapon, and demanded the clerk give him money from the cash register.

He then fled the store in a westbound direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, 25 to 35 years old, with a slim build. His face was covered with a balaclava or bandana with a white pattern. He was wearing a dark hoodie and carrying a backpack.

Investigators are looking into whether this case is related to any other similar incidents.
