Seeking Public Assistance - Sexual Assaults, Indecent Act

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a man who may have information about a number of sexual assaults and indecent acts.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, 2013, at approximately 8:40 a.m., a woman was walking in the green space in the 500 block of Heritage Drive S.W., when a man grabbed her from behind and began to rub up against her. The woman turned and screamed and the man ran away.

The man is described as approximately 30 to 35 years old, approximately 180 lbs., 6’ tall, with a medium build, brown eyes and black hair. He was wearing black dress pants, black dress shoes, a navy coloured dress shirt, with well-groomed short hair and was carrying a black work bag.

At roughly 8:20 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, a woman was walking in the green space in the 500 block of Heritage Drive S.W., when a man approached a woman from behind, trying to engage her in a conversation while he had his hand down his pants. The man then pulled down his pants exposing himself to the woman who yelled, causing the suspect to leave.

The man is described as having olive skin tone, approximately 20 to 29 years old, with short, black spiky hair. He was wearing a blue track jacket with a white stripe down the side, and dark sweatpants.

Just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, a woman was sitting on a bus from Skyview to Saddleridge when a man got on the bus and sat next to her. The man then placed his hand on her upper thigh, running it up her leg. She moved and the man left the bus shortly after.

The man is described as approximately 5’8” tall, with short, scruffy hair, a slim build and a brown skin tone. He was wearing a grey hoodie at the time.

All three victims were between the ages of 16 and 22. Although all three descriptions differ slightly, investigators believe all three cases may be related.
