Seeking Public Assistance - Possible Voyeurism Case

The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance to identify a person of interest in relation to a possible voyeurism case.

On Monday, June 2, 2014, between 12:10 p.m. and 12:35 p.m., an unknown man rode the CTrain into the downtown core from Shawnessy Station. While on the train, he sat next to a woman who was standing. At that time he was observed to be allegedly using a mobile electronic device with a built-in camera to record images under the dress of the victim.

A witness subsequently made the victim aware, who then confronted the man. Once confronted, he ran from the CTrain at City Hall Station.

The person of interest is described as an Asian man, clean shaven, in his mid-20s with shorter black hair. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black runners and had a black backpack with a white ‘Telus’ logo on the front. CPS continues to work closely with Calgary Transit Public Safety & Enforcement to ensure citizen safety and we would like to thank them for their assistance in this investigation.
