Robbery Investigation

The Calgary Police Service is currently investigating a robbery at a financial institution earlier today.

At approximately 11:15 a.m. today, Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, a man entered the Scotiabank located in the 800 block of 19 Street N.E. Once inside the bank the man produced a note demanding money and gave it to a bank employee. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No physical injuries were reported as a result.

The man is described at Caucasian, approximately 30 years old, 5'6" tall, weighing roughly 120 lbs., with a slim build and blue eyes. He was wearing a black jacket, red hoodie, black mittens with removable fingers, light brown khaki-coloured runners and a black scarf to cover his face.
