Reminder: Cora Cops and Crêpes in Support of Special Olympics Alberta

The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Alberta is teaming up with Cora Restaurants to raise some much-needed funds for some very special athletes.

On Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10, 2013, officers from several law enforcement agencies will join together for Cora Cops and Crêpes at all Calgary , Airdrie and Okotoks locations. This event was formally known as Tip A Cop.

Patrons can expect to see law enforcement personnel from the Calgary Police Service, Alberta Sheriffs, RCMP and Alberta Correctional Services, along with Special Olympics athletes and many other volunteers, bussing tables, selling T-shirts and stuffed toy dogs, taking cash donations and having fun. All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Alberta.

The mission of the LETR is to raise awareness and funds for the Special Olympics movement worldwide. The mission of Special Olympics Alberta is to enrich the lives of Albertans with intellectual disabilities through sport.
