PSA - Car seat inspection clinic

The Calgary Police Service Traffic Education Unit will be holding a car seat inspection clinic on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. at the CPS Traffic Section office located at 6528 11 Street N.E.

The public is invited to drop in, with no appointments required.

These clinics provide information to parents to ensure proper use of car seats and the prevention of injuries.

Some of the more common car seat errors that are found include:

Chest clips too low
Internal straps too loose
Car seats not properly secured
Car seats loosely installed

Due to high volume, we will not be installing car seats but will assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.
