Police Investigate Suspicious Death

The Calgary Police Service is currently at the scene of a suspicious death in the northwest.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., today, Thursday, July 24, 2014, police were called to the 1600 block of 46 Street N.W., where they discovered a deceased man. The victim is believed to be between 40 to 50 years old.

While the cause of death remains undetermined pending an autopsy, we are treating the incident as suspicious and the Homicide Unit will lead the investigation.
