Pedestrian vs car serious injury accident

On September 13, 1013 at 2245 hours a pedestrian reportedly jay walked across Crowchild Tr in the 1900 block. He was struck by a northbound motor vehicle.  He suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital whre he is being treated for critical, life threatening injuries. Traffic section is investigating. Alcohol may have been a factor in the collision.
