Overnight Break-ins

The Calgary Police Service is investigating a series of nighttime residential break and enters that occurred across the city overnight.

Between late Wednesday, April 9 and early Thursday, April 10, 2014, six break-ins occurred in the communities of Castleridge, Whitehorn, Walden, Queensland, Millrise and Southwood. In the majority, the homeowners were at home and sleeping at the time.

In one case, a vehicle was stolen from an attached garage. It is not known at this time if these offences are related.

The Service would like to remind homeowners to be vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles or people to 403-266-1234 or 911 for a crime in progress.
