Graves Bridge Water Main Installation - Road Closures

Due to Water Services’ work in the area, Glenmore Trail S.E. and Heritage Drive S.E. may be experiencing major delays over the next two months. 

From Monday, October 6 for a duration of approximately two months, two westbound lanes on Glenmore Trail S.E. will be closed starting at 8 p.m. through 5 a.m. on weekdays and during all weekend hours.There will also be single lane closures required on Heritage Drive during various stages of this project.

Water Services is installing a new water main using the Graves Bridge as above-ground support to cross the Bow River. This work is necessary to ensure the continuing integrity of water infrastructure and helps to prevent future service interruptions and emergency repairs.

Given that this is a major roadway, motorists are encouraged to consider taking alternate routes to avoid delays. Further updates on this work will be provided as information becomes available.
