Filmstrip Found at Local Landfill

In response to several media requests, please find attached the original images that were brought to the attention of the Calgary Police Service yesterday morning by a local landfill employee.

Several hours were spent trying to determine the legitimacy of the images, which were heavily damaged. Once somewhat restored, the filmstrip seemed to feature Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd and investigators contacted his representatives to determine if in fact the images were from an old film.

It was confirmed the images were from the 1990 movie Loose Cannons.

The police investigation is now closed.
