Emergency Closure – Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for August 12, 2013

A sinkhole has developed at the intersection of Macleod Trail and 10 Avenue S.E. The two left lanes of Macleod Trail will be closed along with through traffic on eastbound 10 Avenue S.E.; traffic from eastbound 10 Avenue is being directed to northbound Macleod Trail.
A sinkhole has developed at the intersection of Macleod Trail and 10 Avenue S.E. The two left lanes of Macleod Trail will be closed along with through traffic on eastbound 10 Avenue S.E.; traffic from eastbound 10 Avenue is being directed to northbound Macleod Trail.
City crews have begun the assessment of this sinkhole and will begin working to repair the road as quickly as possible. Drivers can expect this work to affect rush hour this afternoon and all day tomorrow, Tuesday, August 13. Drivers should consider using alternate routes if possible.
