Convenience Store Robbery Seeking Public Assistance

Police are seeking public assistance in relation to a convenience store robbery that took place last evening.

On Thursday, February 7, 2013, at approximately 9:15 p.m., a male robbed the Express Food Mart located in the 100 block of Whitefield DR NE.

The man entered the store brandishing a hand gun and demanded all the money in the till. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male in his 20’s with no accent. He was approximately 5’9” tall and 160 lbs., wearing a black ski mask and a black knee length leather coat. A handgun was used to threaten the employee.
