City of Calgary road closures

Southwest

50 Avenue is closed between 4 Street S.W. and 4A Street S.W. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 30 for underground utility work .

The right lane will be closed and speed restricted to 50 km/h on southbound Crowchild Trail at 33 Avenue S.W. from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, October 30 for utility work.

The two left lanes will be closed and speed restricted to 50 km/h on southbound Crowchild Trail at 33 Avenue S.W. from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday, October 31, and again from 7 p.m. Friday, November 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday, November 3 for utility work.

Southeast

Northbound and southbound Blackfoot Trail south of Heritage Drive will be reduced to one lane in each direction from 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 30 to 1 a.m. Thursday, October 31 for overhead utility work. The speed limit will be lowered to 50 km/h during this time. Crews will be on site direct traffic as required. Delays are expected, and use of alternate routes is encouraged.

Northeast

Two right lanes are closed on 36 Street N.E., just north of Memorial Drive N.E . until Sunday, November 3 at 6 p.m. for utility work.

Edmonton Trail is closed between 33 Avenue and 37 Avenue N.E. until Friday, November 1 for utility work.  Local access will be maintained. More information is available at www.calgary.ca/edmontontrail .

Southbound Barlow Trail N.E. is reduced to one lane at 16 Avenue N.E. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily until Friday, November 8 for roadwork. The ramp from eastbound 16 Avenue to southbound Barlow Trail will be narrowed during this time.

Rundlehorn Drive N.E .is closed between 48 Street N.E .and Rundlefield Road N.E . until 6 p.m. on Friday, November 8.

Northwest

Nose Hill Drive is reduced to one lane in each direction at Tuscany Hill N.W. until 8 p.m. on Friday, November 1 for utility work.
