Charges laid in dangerous driving incident

The Calgary Police Service Traffic Section has charged a man with a dangerous driving incident captured on video.

A YouTube video posted on Friday, May 9, 2014, captures a 2004 Porsche Cayenne driving northbound in the 4200 block of Crowchild Trail S.W. racing with a Ford Mustang Shelby. It also shows the Porsche speeding on 16 Avenue and Bowfort Road. N.W. Both incidents occurred on Apr. 8, 2014.

Roman KOZUBSKYY, 22, has been charged with careless driving and speeding under the Traffic Safety Act. He will appear in court on June 27, 2014.

The Calgary Police Service was unable to identify the driver of the Ford Mustang Shelby. The investigation is now concluded.
