Mackenzie Town Council Stampede Breakfast – Wednesday, July 10
High Street S.E. between Promenade Park S.E. to Mackenzie Town Avenue will be closed from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
 
Rotary Club of Calgary – Stampede Roundup – Wednesday, July 10
6 Street S.E./6 Avenue S.E. between 5 Street S.E., Confluence Way S.E. to 8 Avenue S.E. will be closed from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
 
Rotary Club of Calgary – Oxford Stomp – Friday, July 12
6 Street S.E./6 Avenue S.E. between 5 Street S.E., Confluence Way S.E. to 8 Avenue S.E. will be closed from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, July 12.
 
Sunalta Community Association – Stampede Breakfast – Saturday, July 13
13 Avenue S.W. between 16 Street S.W. to 17 Street S.W. will be closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 13.
 
Vibrant Village Society of Inglewood & Ramsay – Inglewood Night Market – Friday, July 12
10 Street S.E. between 9 Avenue S.E. to 10 Avenue S.E. will be closed from 6 p.m. to midnight on Friday, July 12 to Saturday, July 13.
 
Northeast
Southbound 36 Street N.E. at Marlborough CTrain station will have the left turn lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, for moving materials.
 
Southeast
Motorists travelling northbound on Deerfoot Trail S.E.  between Stoney Trail/Highway 22X and Seton Boulevard S.E./196 Street will be re-directed to one of the southbound Deerfoot Trail lanes where two-way traffic will occur from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. until July 16. The speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h. The work is being completed for the construction of the southeast leg of the Calgary ring road.
 
Eastbound Glenmore Trail under Blackfoot Trail bridge will have the two right lanes closed and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h from 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10 to 5 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, for bridge construction.
 
Eastbound Glenmore Trail under Blackfoot Trail bridge will have the two left lanes closed and the speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h from 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 to 5 a.m. on Friday, July 12, for bridge construction.
 
 
Ongoing road closures and lane restrictions
 
Northeast
Edmonton Trail between 28 Avenue N.E. to 31 Avenue N.E. will have traffic restricted to one lane in each direction starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 6 for approximately three months. In addition, access to 29 Avenue N.E. and 31 Avenue N.E. at Edmonton Trail on the east side will be closed. Access to 30 Avenue will be maintained. The sidewalks along the east side will be closed and bus stops will be re-located or temporarily closed, for the Edmonton Trail Road Reconstruction Project.
 
Southeast
90 Avenue S.E. between 48 Street S.E. and 52 Street S.E. will have one lane closed in each direction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 5 and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 6. In addition, one lane will be closed in each direction during the following week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily starting on Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12, for utilities.
 
Southwest
Royal Avenue S.W. between 7 Street S.W. and 8 Street S.W. will be closed from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, for construction.
Elbow Drive S.W. between Anderson Road and Glenmore Trail will have various lanes closed daily during off-peak traffic hours, starting Saturday, June 29 until mid-July to allow for paving. Calgary Police Service will be on site to assist with traffic control as paving crews progress through intersections.
 
1 Street S.W. and 1 A Street S.W. between 50 Avenue S.W. and 55 Avenue S.W. will have various lane closures from 9 a.m. on Monday, July 8 to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, for an underground utility installation.
 
Hull Avenue S.W. between Horton Road S.W. and Macleod Trail will be closed from 7 p.m. on Monday, June 3 until 3 p.m. on Friday, July 12, for major road reconstruction.
 
Long term projects – road closures and lane restrictions
 
Northeast
36 Street N.E. will be closed between 80 Avenue N.E. and Country Hills Boulevard, beginning Monday, April 8, between Airport Trail and Country Hills Boulevard for the roadway to be reconstructed from two lanes to four lanes. The closure, which will last approximately four months, will allow Airport Trail connections to be made to 36 Street N.E. eastbound from the Airport Trail tunnel. Motorists are advised to use Métis Trail N.E. as an alternative route. For more information, visit 36 Street N.E. road reconstruction and widening.
 
Southeast
Blackfoot Trail bridge over Glenmore Trail S.E. will have the speed limit reduced to 50 km/h starting at 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 and continuing through the 2014 construction season, for work related to the Blackfoot Trail Bridge rehabilitation project.  There will be various stages of construction which will have traffic pattern changes on Blackfoot Trail and lanes closures on both Blackfoot Trail and Glenmore Trail.  For further information please go to Calgary.ca and search “Blackfoot bridge”.
 
Southwest
Westbound 13 Avenue S.W. between 1 Street S.W. to 4 Street S.W. will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 29, for approximately two months for the 13 Avenue Heritage Greenway Project.
