Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for January 22, 2013
Traffic announcement
Due to the construction of the new Chinook CTrain Station several traffic cameras will be offline for one to two weeks.
Southeast
Blackfoot Trail S.E., south of Heritage Drive S.E, will have northbound and southbound right lanes closed daily, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Friday, January 25, for traffic signal installation. The speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h.
84 Street S.E. at Frontier Road S.E., speed limit will be reduced to 50 km/h, between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, from Monday, January 14 to Friday, January 25, for traffic signal installation.
Southwest
23 Avenue west of 14A Street; and 14A Street S.W. south of 23 Avenue S.W., will be closed from 8 a.m. Monday, January 21 to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 24, for the installation of an underground utility to a new condo site.
Northeast
Edmonton Trail N.E. from 16 Avenue N.E. to 40 Avenue N.E., various northbound and southbound lane closures, between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, from Wednesday, January 9 to Friday, January 25, for utility work.
Northwest
Northbound Centre Street north of 54 Avenue N.W., there is uneven roadway due to frost. Please drive with caution in this area.
