Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for February 6, 2013
Southeast
Northbound Macleod Trail between 14 Avenue S.E. and 12 Avenue S.E., two right lanes remain closed, for emergency water repairs. Completion of work is not expected prior to noon on Thursday, February 7. While two northbound lanes of Macleod Trail are currently open, motorist can expect delays in this area. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes to get to the downtown core for Thursday’s morning commute.

2 Avenue S.W. east of 2 Street S.W., (cul-de-sac) will be closed, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, for the 2013 Chinese New Year’s Carnival celebration.

Southwest
1 Street S.W. between 6 Avenue S.W. and 7 Avenue S.W., will be closed, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, from Sunday, January 27 to February 19, for building demolition.

10 Avenue S.W. west of 7 Street S.W., will be reduced to one lane in each direction on the south side, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, from Wednesday, February 6 to Thursday, February 7, for water main break repair.
Deerfoot Trail S.E. and Seton Boulevard S.E., motorists travelling northbound on Deerfoot Trail S.E. will have access to one lane of Seton Boulevard S.E., from 10 p.m. Friday, February 8 to 6 a.m. Saturday, February 9, for installation of new signs.
Macleod Trail S.E. and Glenmore Trail S.E., southbound and westbound left lanes will be closed, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, February 7, for signal repair.
Eastbound 12 Avenue S.E. between Centre Street and 1 Street S.E., two right lanes and parking lane closed, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, for signal maintenance.
Northwest
10 Street N.W. (Louise Bridge) at Memorial Drive, the right lane will be closed, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily, from Wednesday, February 6 to Thursday, February 7, for construction work.
