Calgary road closures and lane restrictions for February 15, 2013
Update on McKnight Boulevard
McKnight Boulevard between Centre Street and 4 Street N.W., starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, February 15, traffic will be moved to the north side of McKnight Boulevard and reduced to single lane in each direction, due to utility repairs. This closure is anticipated to continue through the evening commute and through the weekend. Updates regarding will be provided as information becomes available.

Southeast
84 Street S.E., south of Venture Avenue S.E. will be reduced to 50 kilometres, starting at 7a.m. Wednesday, February 13. There will be periodic stopping of traffic by flagman, to allow for utility construction related to the new Enmax Energy Centre. This phase of construction is expected to last until March 1.

3 Street S.E. between 6 Avenue S.E. and 7 Avenue S.E. , the road will be reduced to a single lane in each direction, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, for construction.

9 Avenue S.E. between 9 Street S.E. and 10 Street S.E., will have various lane closures and no parking, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, for road construction.

1 Street S.W. between 6 Avenue S.W. and 7 Avenue S.W., will be closed, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, until Tuesday, February 19, for building demolition.

Palliser Drive S.W. at Pump Hill Rise S.W., will be closed, from 9 a.m. on Friday, February 15 to 3 p.m. on Monday, February 18, for the installation of an underground utility.
30 Avenue S.W. between 6 Street S.W. and Elbow Drive S.W., will be closed, from 7 p.m. Friday, February 15 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, for the installation of an underground utility.
61 Avenue S.W. between 1 A Street S.W. and Centre Street S., various lane and road closures, from 11 p.m. Friday, February 15 to 5 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, for installation of an underground utility.
58 Avenue S.W. at 5 Street S.W., will be reduced to one lane in each direction, starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, February 20 until 7 p.m. Thursday, February 21, for water services repair. All traffic will be directed to the north side of 58 Avenue S.W., as crews will be working in the existing eastbound lanes.
47 Avenue S.W. between Elbow Drive S.W. and Imperial Way S.W., will be closed, from noon on Wednesday, February 20 to 6 a.m. on Thursday, February 21, for construction.

19 Street N.E. between Mayland Drive N.E. and 14 Avenue N.E., will be closed, from 9 a.m. on Friday, February 15 to 6 p.m. Saturday, February 16, for water services repair.

Arbour Lake Road N.W. at Crowfoot Rise N.W., the road will be closed, from 9 a.m. Tuesday, February 19 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, for water services repair. Alternate routes are recommended as delays are expected in this area.

In order to facilitate the construction occurring at the Rundle LRT Station, the southbound left lane of 36 Street N.E., just south of 26 Avenue N.E., will be closed, starting on Tuesday, February 12, between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The closure will occur daily between February 12 and February 22, (excluding Saturday and Sunday).
